Green goodies for the month of March

Get it on
If you’re hitting the gym this month, make sure to check out the latest collection of the Cotton On Active Range (COAR), in store now. The range is available in men’s and women’s categories and combines comfort with style and guaranteed performance.

We’re not going to deny that the bottle is why we first bought this wine! Love, love, loving the packaging … the high gloss, organic ink coating, influenced by traditional colour-blocking, is deceptively simple, carefully considered and beautifully crafted. Luckily the wine inside is just as impressive. The Clarington collection of wines made by Normandie Est. 1693 (one of only 29 original French Huguenot-settled farms in the famous Franschhoek Valley of the Cape Winelands) is fabulous. This March we’re drinking the whites … there’s a Chardonnay, a Chenin Blanc and a Sauvignon Blanc. Really pleasing wines … and at less than R100 a bottle, it’s affordable enough for everyday drinking, special enough to impress your guests! Details:

Grow your own dinner. It’s cheap, healthy and as green as it can possibly be. We fancy the new RAW range of seeds … the very best open-pollinated, non-GMO seeds you could hope to find. There’s nothing artificial about them … they’re carefully selected for their quality, are perfectly fresh and are weighed and packaged at just the right time. You’ll find everything from peas to peppers, from basil to beans to broccoli. You should find them at your local nursery, otherwise visit for your closest stockist.

Stand out
Who doesn’t want to stand out from the crowd? We love the Converse’s new Chuck Taylor All Star II Blackout range, which keep you in the lit up, even during the darkest of nights. A knit reflective upper enhances visibility in low light while a colour blocked black midsole provides some contrast. These stylish treads also have a heel pull tab for easy on and off and a Nike Lunarlon insole for comfort! Love it!
