Official ground breaking of KZN’s award-winning A-grade catalytic development

Official ground breaking of KZN’s award-winning A-grade catalytic development

Thursday, 12 October 2017, commemorated the official ground breaking of Durban’s iconic Umhlanga Arch. Marking this milestone, Rembrothers served up their first champagne breakfast onsite to an intimate group of key invited guests and media that joined The Multiply Group in celebrating the occasion.

“Following the tremendous successful launch of our residential phase and office spaces, we are thrilled to get going with the construction of Umhlanga Arch. Leading up to this moment has been nothing short of extraordinary, from record rate sales to being awarded as the best marketed development in South Africa for 2017. As we take this step forward, we are delighted to share that we have appointed Wilson Bailey Homes (WBHO) as our contractor and can confirm that ABSA bank will be financing our remarkable project,” shares Chris du Toit, Developer representative of Umhlanga Arch.

He continues, “Breaking ground is a significant moment, as we believe that our iconic development is going to change the landscape of Durban and set a whole new precedent, not only in the property industry, but also with regard to the lifestyle the area has to offer.”

According to a New World Wealth and AfrAsia latest top 10 residential estate report, South Africa is one of the global leaders when it comes to residential estate living. Lightstone Property estimates that estate property makes up 15.1% of the 6.2 million residential properties within South Africa. Despite entering a heavy estate property market, Umhlanga Arch has already been announced KZN’s A-grade catalytic development. This iconic project has set new benchmarks in all aspects to date such as their architecture, technology, marketing, and bespoke retail concept.

Leading up to this stage, the Multiply Group recently announced their strategic partnership with Rembrothers; where planning has already begun in creating a unique and eclectic lifestyle offering that further enhances this bespoke development.

“The first breakfast, not only marked the beginning of construction, but the start of the successful partnership between The Multiply Group and Rembrothers. Our goal is to ensure that Umhlanga Arch delivers on creating a one-of-a-kind lifestyle; although we are in the early stages, we look forward to revealing our plans with you in the near future,” shares Renzo Scribante, Founder of the Rembrothers Group.
