Shoreline Sibaya breaks ground in record time

Shoreline Sibaya breaks ground in record time

Just six months ago, Shoreline Sibaya was introduced as Sibaya Coastal Precinct’s first retirement estate. Since their May launch, Shoreline Sibaya has reached over R300 million in sales and sold 54% of the first phase. Today marks another significant milestone for Shoreline Sibaya as they officially break ground

“The numbers don’t lie, Shoreline Sibaya is definitely answering the market demand. We are delighted to have reached this stage, and we can’t wait to get started with constructing the first retirement estate in the premier Sibaya Coastal Precinct,” says Wicus Jacobs, Director of Carmel Properties.

“A very big part of why we have reached these record sales is because our development team has designed and created a product that is both high-end and within a desirable price range. They have listened to what retirees want and have had an adaptive approach, and therefore been able to reconfigure certain areas to better suit the target market needs,” Jacobs shares.

Shoreline Sibaya has claimed the title as the fastest selling retirement estate within KwaZulu-Natal to date. This is a result of many elements working in Shoreline Sibaya’s favour. This modern estate offers a choice of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments within the picturesque and lifestyle rich location of Sibaya Coastal Precinct. The developers and teams behind Shoreline Sibaya have years of experience and aim to continue to create exceptional products that focus on lifestyle, security, care and sustainability.

Another aspect working in Shoreline Sibaya’s favour is that retirement is currently the fastest growing residential investment segment within the country. The growing interest in retirement property as an investment opportunity is a result of a few fundamental factors, namely location, demand for the product, capital appreciation and rental returns; all elements synonymous with Shoreline Sibaya.

As of 1 December, those who have already invested in Shoreline Sibaya will start reaping the rewards and experience capital appreciation in their purchase, as a price increase will be applied.

There is no doubt that the engaging and active lifestyle on offer for the over 50’s is difficult to resist; with a Community Centre equipped with a gym, kitchen, an internet café, a quiet reading area, a heated swimming pool, a social lounge area and an outdoor braai area. “For those who would still like to visit the site or interested in investing, our sales office is open this Sunday 12 November from 1pm – 5pm,” ends Jacobs.
