Pizza & festive pub nights
We adore the Mamma G’s restaurant at the well-known and loved Umhlali Country Club. It’s a great environment in which to relax with family and friends and the new menu has breakfast, lunch and dinner options. They also have their own pizza oven – so you can be assured of excellent pizza! The venue can cater for small groups right up to 250 people, ranging from weddings and conferences to birthday bashes! Their weekly specials are fantastic and you have to try the scrumptious Sunday Roast for just R85, including desert! Quality cuisine in the forest
Situated in the leafy Dunkirk Estate in Salt Rock, Ray’s Kitchen is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to gastronomic delights! The restaurant has been open for three years and has established itself as a firm favourite amongst North Coasters – both those who live within the estate and those who do not. The team behind Ray’s is also responsible for the popular Marco Paulo and Frank’s restaurants in Mount Edgecombe. Simbithi Eco-Estate’s Fig Tree Restaurant is one of our firm favourites for a number of reasons: the fantastic fairway views, the excellent food and the wonderful community atmosphere, day and night. Overlooking the Simbithi golf course, The Fig Tree is the perfect spot for romantic dinners, family gatherings and great nights out with friends! And the curry buffet is phenomenal!
