1 Upgrade your hair dryer
Try using an ionic hair dryer when drying your strands to help balance your hair’s natural charge. This will also help reduce heat damage which could dry out your strands.
2 Buy a new hat!
Try buying hats with silk or satin lining. The smooth fabric will allow your hair strands to lie flatter, thereby preventing frizz and that dreaded ‘hat hair’’. Win win!!
3 Try hair oils
Dehydration is one of the main reasons your hair conducts electric charge and, in winter, hair becomes dryer due to lack of moisture in the air. Give your hair some added ‘TLC’ by moisturising your strands with a smoothing hair oil. It will leave your hair feeling luxurious, shiny and fly-away free!
4 Comb with hairspray
Hairspray and a metal comb are your go-to travel companions! Simply spray your metal comb with hairspray from root to ends and comb out. This helps tame fly-aways without making your hair feel crunchy or hard.
5 Constantly condition
Another great way to feed your hair with added moisture is by using a ‘leave-in’ conditioner throughout winter.
